There is no risk of water rationing in Burgas and Varna. The Kamchia Reservoir, which supplies water to both regional cities, can ensure water supply through the end of the year.
This is according to data from the Burgas Water and Sewerage Company.
Currently, the reservoir holds 160 million cubic meters of water, which is more than 65% of its total capacity.
The water from the reservoir is used for drinking and domestic purposes, and the water utility monitors the reservoir’s level around the clock.
