Temporary Change in Operations
DEAR CUSTOMERS,
In light of the complicated epidemiological situation and the growing number of reported cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the country, “ViK” EAD, Burgas, in order to better protect the health of its customers and employees, will temporarily modify its operations as follows, effective November 5, 2020:
-
Door-to-door meter reader visits for visual meter readings are suspended, with the exception of main water meters and branch water meters located in yard manholes. We urge all users of water supply and sewer services who do not have remote-reading meters installed to submit their meter readings in one of the following ways:
- by posting a note on their front door;
- by calling the phone numbers listed on the notice posted in the building’s entrance;
- by self-reporting after registering on the company’s website www.vik-burgas.com or by sending an email to plasment@vik-burgas.com.
- Subscribers who do not submit a self-report will be billed for estimated consumption in accordance with Article 35, paragraph 2 of Regulation 4/2004 of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works—based on average monthly consumption from the previous period.
-
Access to the company’s buildings is restricted. Customer service centers and payment offices within the territory served by the water utility will serve customers under enhanced safety measures. We kindly ask that visits to the service centers be made only while wearing personal protective equipment (masks), that hand sanitizer be used, and that customers wait their turn outside the premises in accordance with established rules.
